Hot Body

So I recently signed up for Bikram Yoga...It was pretty nerve wrecking to actually go ahead and take the class but I knew it was something I had to try out ("Try something you fear" kept running through my head). So I got to it and tried it out. Most yoga spots have a new member fee where you can get some added bonus, so I opted for the new member unlimited for a week. It felt pretty good to be prepared on my first day.

Now the actual session!! I went into the heated room and was like damn WTF did I sign myself up for. HAHA; but I went back in and waited for the instructor to enter. It was a really small class of myself and 4 others, which I loved. The instructor was really nice and he was a big help during my time there. Once we got started the sweat started rolling, I was feeling the burn. It was really good to know that I was able to remain in the room and I did my best. Though, I felt a bit dizzy at times, sort of like I was going to pass out, or just not able to do a position, I rode out like a champ.

When I left I was like to hell with that this is too much, then the little voice in my head began to speak "If you don't come back you would have wasted your money, and you'd be a quitter". I just couldn't do that could I. A day later and a body well aching I will be heading back tomorrow for sure. Have to get my moneys worth right.

Will definitely keep you updated on my Bikram classes until the membership runs out...

Have you done Yoga before?
Have you tried Bikram Yoga before?
How was it for you?
I would love to hear your experiences...

Have you reset your life?

I recently spoke about joining KimberlyLuxe and friends on a 3 month journey to self. It came at no better time, as I was dealing with a whole bunch of crap and was just in need of a reset. I am not going to lie I procrastinated for a while about actually starting, then my inner self spoke up. I think it was meant for me to do it. Along the months the journey for me has been a great one. I have been able to dig deeper into me and it feels good. Along with my meditation and improving my being I feel almost invincible. Why? Because I have been learning about myself on a deeper aspect and I am loving every moment of it and myself.

If you have not heard of it or where procrastinating too, you can still reset. Head over to KimberlyLuxe.com and start your journey. Your mind, body and soul will truly thank you. I promise, live that queen in you.

First morning

Goodmorning Beautiful Queens & Kings!

First I have to share a small bit of the devotional I read in my YouVersion Bible app.

"Everyone has gone through seasons when the challenges of life feel overwhelming. During those times, it’s easy to be tempted to talk about how bad things are. Maybe you received a bad medical report, or maybe you’re facing a financial obstacle. But the more you talk about something, the bigger it becomes in your mind. Instead, you’ve got to dig your heels in and say, “No, I am not going to give life to that defeat. I am not going to speak sickness over myself. I’m not going to speak lack. I’m not going to speak fear. I’m choosing a different report. I believe the report of the Lord which says I am blessed. I am favored. I am prosperous. I am healthy. I am whole. I’m a victor, not a victim.”

Bring positive thoughts into your life. If you feed negative energy it will prosper. That negative energy will consume your body and lead you into excessive negativity. In those thoughts, do no grasp them, but also do not reject them. "No Grasping, No Rejecting." Accept that the negative energy is there, let it drift away, as it drifts, speak to your God to help you receive and increase positive thought energy.
