Have you reset your life?

I recently spoke about joining KimberlyLuxe and friends on a 3 month journey to self. It came at no better time, as I was dealing with a whole bunch of crap and was just in need of a reset. I am not going to lie I procrastinated for a while about actually starting, then my inner self spoke up. I think it was meant for me to do it. Along the months the journey for me has been a great one. I have been able to dig deeper into me and it feels good. Along with my meditation and improving my being I feel almost invincible. Why? Because I have been learning about myself on a deeper aspect and I am loving every moment of it and myself.

If you have not heard of it or where procrastinating too, you can still reset. Head over to KimberlyLuxe.com and start your journey. Your mind, body and soul will truly thank you. I promise, live that queen in you.

Chocolate Books

** 11/3/12**
Since last week I had been dying to go to Barnes & Nobles for a me date but I was in my usual** procrastination mood. Last night, I told myself I was going to Barnes & Nobles and getting me a peppermint hot chocolate and reading. I went on a quest to find a list of books that might interest me and I'd say I came up with a pretty good list; out of my list I was able to find 5.

I'm super inpatient at times and having to search was pretty annoying but I did it. When I was over actually searching through the what felt like millions of books, I asked for help. By the way it was only two books, I did well!

I was secretly hoping to get an open seat across from a hot guy but I was lucky enough that the hot guy got up. I now had two seats!(Which by the way two elderly ladies sat in.) My peppermint hot cocoa in one hand and my books in the other.

It was pretty awesome scanning through the books I had selected. I really can say I enjoyed my little me time date. Thanks to that me time, I decided that I will be purchasing all used books(those books were outrageous to me). Plus for me!

How do you enjoy me time?

Kindness Challenge Day 1

Earlier this evening I received my email for day 1 of the Kindness Challenge over at PersonalExcellence.co. (I actually was confused as to why I got the email so early and it wasn't Nov. 1, then I remember that Personal Excellence is being run over in Singapore...DUH).

My first thoughts on Day 1: How the heck am I supposed to do that? I'm really not a hugger for one and I probably won't be able to see many people because of Hurricane Sandy.

What I actually did: I went to the people in my home and gave them hugs...except for one(She was on the phone; I still have time)

Their response: They both pushed me away like what the hell are you doing but didn't say anything...I proceeded to hug them.

My Response: I really didn't know how I was going to do it because I knew they would have the reaction they did. Though. I took notice how they responded and still supplied them with my kindness. It felt very rewarding, like I was almost comforting them and taking away some of their worries. I am going to find ways to hug a couple more people before day 1 is over.

You can still join...do it like yesterday before it's too late

Cozy thoughts

While sipping my tea last night, I must admit my scatter brain got the best of me. I stuck to sipping my tea mindfully for a good while then my thoughts began to wander.

I began to picture myself in my future home, sipping my tea, with a good book beside me, on my window seat. I often see this visualization every now and then, and it puts my mind into focus. I've just gotta have that quaint little window seat, alongside some amazing view.

Check out some pics of my future cozy corner...

Your invited!!

As I sit here I'm trying to figure out how the heck I'm going to begin. I was hit with a tad case of writers block...Why? Because I wanted this to be one of those super awesome, sexy invitations, but instead, it's me.

I recently decided to begin a discovery of my true self and thought why not document my journey. Around maybe the beginning of October, I would say was my official step toward a better me. I've been working on improving me, spiritually, mentally, physically and whole heartedly.

How I've been doing it you ask?
I had been receiving devotionals 5 days a week from a fellow natural haired friend, along with a devotional plan I had created via the YouVersion Bible app. I had also been subscribed to several blogs(which I never read). One day, I finally started reading what these daily emails were composed of. It was some really good stuff!

Along with all of that I started meditation(I am taking a mindfulness class in school), and began a 3 month life reset via KimberlyLuxe.com. I have been journaling my process but I may share a few things with you here are there. I will also be taking part in a 14 day Kindness Challenge so come along to join me on PersonalExcellence.co

So....welcome to my journey...I hope that we can take these steps together. We all deserve to be Queens. We just have to take the time to uncover her.

What to expect? Anything!
So do comment, take notes, share, and find your inner Queen!
(Kings comments are ALWAYS welcomed. Your opinions help us be better Queens as well.)
